Large MuSR copper background

Description:
The “arms” of the copper cold finger thought to be the main source of Cu signal in the DR data were covered with Silver foil. We used Alfa Aesar foil part number 42474, 0.25mm (0.01 inch) thick, annealed, Premion 99.998%. The foil was varnished on the arms, then the top and bottom were wrapped with copper wire to improve thermal contact (see attached picture).
