Synopsis:
C-clip failed and subsequent operation caused failure.

Description:
C-clip on the crankshaft failed releasing the bearing to move out of place. Damage was sustained to the crankshaft and scotch yolk.
Pump was taken apart with a repair kit spent on it. A new Scotch Yolk, the displacer 1 pin assembly and crankshaft were also installed. Displacers were cleaned and installed. New helium was charged. Pump was tested and it came down to 14K.
Pump is stored and ready for installation onto any beamline requiring a regular profile cryo pump.
