Maintenance for High-Time

Good news!

We received the magnet ~ 1hr ago. I could not smell or see any problems, all coil resistances look good. I cut the diodes out of the circuit and found one diode pack was open in both polarities, effectively knocking out one half of the magnet!! We will install new diodes everywhere and then proceed to LHe test the magnet. Looking at testing on 9/16/08.

I am checking to see how much we can possibly machine the bore of the magnet out by and if it will help the dewar guy. If it dose help, I would suggest machining the magnet bore before testing in LHe
